An RMC refurbished ATM passes through the following extensive process:
- Used ATMs are moved to our Lakewood, New Jersey facility, where all work is done.
- The Interior is thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
- Printers, card readers, dispensers, and pick modules are inspected, lubricated, and parts replaced as necessary.
- Processors are upgraded to current levels required for compatibility with Triple DES, TCP/IP, and customer graphic downloads.
- Each unit is configured to meet the customer's feature specification.
- The proper communication facility is installed.
- NCR software is pre-loaded.
- The unit is thoroughly tested to ensure performance and reliability prior to shipment.
- The Exterior is cleaned and inspected.
- Scratches and dents are removed.
- Surfaces are refurbished and professionally painted as needed.
- Equipment is restored to a like-new appearance prior to shipment.
